True Story

I graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Industrial Design, May 2013. While I did learn a lot in college (we can talk about it sometime if you’re interested; I have war stories), the bulk of my knowledge and know-how today is all thanks to the people who saw potential in me after graduation.

Now, I'm a Designer living in Atlanta, working at Dagger. I started as a freelancer right out of GT and fell in love with UI/UX architecture—dabbling in application design, wireframes, and novice animations. However, since starting at Dagger, I've expanded my skill set into art direction, photo editing, motion graphics, storyboarding, web design, and e-Book/e-brochure wizardry. Y’all, I can even make elaborate isometric drawings in Illustrator now. It’s not fun. But I can totally do it. Anyway, enough about me.

Okay, back to me. I'm also an artist, a moody wife and dog mom, and an amateur comedian. Full disclosure, I dream of being on SNL some day. I mean, just look at the drama I naturally evoke with fancy lighting and the blue hair I have absolutely had since birth. Haters will say it's Photoshop, and said haters will be somewhat correct.

The real real of it is, I'm a big fan of good design and I'm doing my best to contribute to the cause. If you're interested in my work, would like to see more of it, or just want to hangout sometime, head over to my Contact page and shoot me an email. Peace and blessin’s, fam.
